AUE students can request free academic and English writing support sessions for various courses, regardless of their performance status. The Writing Lab provides an English Instructor who assists students with their English writing for both core courses and English courses.

The Writing Lab also offers an opportunity for students to brainstorm, edit and proofread case studies, research papers and projects pertaining to their specific major. Using the student portal, students are just one click away from meeting with a qualified English Instructor online and learning the craft of English academic writing.

AUE also provides tutoring sessions that are offered by student tutors. However, these sessions should not be confused with the services offered by the Writing Lab, which are specifically focused on the English language and taught by a professional Engish teacher.
