Dr. Luma Al Dhaheri is an Associate Professor in the College of Law at the American University of the Emirates. She holds a Ph.D. from the Lebanese University on her dissertation (The Theory of Parliament Dissolution and its Applications to Contemporary Political Organizations - Iraq as a Model), and a Master’s Degree in Public Law from Baghdad University.

She is a Consultant Member of the Arab Academy for International Arbitration, Advisory Member of the Egyptian Journal of Legal Sciences, and Editor-in-chief of Zain Journal for Legal and Political Research in Lebanon.

Before joining the American University in the Emirates, Dr. Luma worked as a faculty member in the College of Law, at Al-Mustansiriya University in 2006, and as an Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs.
