Counseling & Disability Office

The Counseling and Disability Office is managed and supervised by an individual holding a PhD in Psychology with relevant experience, who reports to the Academic Support Director. The Counseling and Disability Office empowers the University community to improve mental health and wellness and define and achieve academic and personal goals. The Office accommodates individuals undergoing trauma, including suicidal thoughts, physical and psychological violence, sexual assault, harassment, stalking, or some other form of crisis. Additionally, the Office accommodates mental health disorders such as ADHD, depression, panic or anxiety disorders, bipolar disorder, and other mental health conditions. The Office assists students in developing self-understanding.

The Office offers a wide range of activities and services like personal counseling, academic counseling, mental health awareness campaigns, and peer counseling to help the University community overcome personal and academic challenges and develop their educational and psychological capabilities. The Office also focuses on accommodating students with disabilities in conjunction with other academic and non-academic departments to help them achieve their goals.
