The Course Illustrates the characteristics of service and it different nature from Products. It also relates to the science of operations management with regards to effectively and efficiently manage the consumer service experience.
This course as well focus on the impact of customer satisfaction on the design of the service environment.
This course discusses the fundamentals of purchasing management, Purchasing technologies and techniques in supply chain management. this course focuses on procurement and supply chain management. Contract management especially partnership contracts and contractual negotiation techniques are discussed and analyzed.
The course describes the different procurement criteria such as optimization based and value based procurement.
An internship experience is an effective means to bridge the gap between theory and practice. The students enrolled in the Bachelor of Business Administration program require to take this mandatory course as part of their specialization requirement. As this specialization deals with the practical side of the business, students can explore their career interests. This course is aimed at making students market ready and to ensure that the knowledge acquired in the classroom setting can be applied to the external environment. The internship must occur in a workplace underlying practical LSCM activities and within the framework of LSCM.
