- Ms. Ferwa Ibrahim holds an MFA in Kinetic Imaging (Video, Sound and Animation) from Virginia Commonwealth University, USA and a BFA in Visual Art from Beaconhouse National University, Pakistan.
Ms. Ferwa Ibrahim is a visual artist, researcher, and an educator, having taught Animation, Multimedia Design, Graphic Design, Theory and History of New Media Design for ten years. She has taught in Graduate and Undergraduate programs in USA, Pakistan and the UAE.
Ms. Ferwa Ibrahim is a practicing artist who has exhibited her work in solo and group exhibitions in UAE, Canada, USA, India, Pakistan and Bangladesh. Her work has been published in many books on Art, Art Journals and Magazines. Her current research involves how Drawing Thinking and autoethnographic research can lead to creating Humanness in Animations.
She is a receipt of Phi Kappa Phi Scholar Award, by the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi and South Asian Foundation Award by South Asian Foundation.
